old bnet culture seeping in. It'll be interesting to see if blizzard reigns it in for this.
Honestly, the amount of immaturity and elitism in this game has surprised me. It's only beta, everyone in the beta is lucky to get in, and still they act like they bought and own the game and everyone else should know how to play it well too.
What's really great is when you win against an elitist prick.

Because you are overly sensitive?
Could care less if someone called me a racial slur. But, if you where really hurt so badly by this person... Add them to your friends list then right click and press "more..." then press "report abuse".

why don't you save yourself and the mods some time and delete your starcraft 2 beta if the "n" word offends you so much?

Because rules should be respected. If Blizzard states they don't want to do it you shouldn't do it. Since it is in tos and such, i wouldn't see anything wrong with Blizzard banning, even if temporary, people for heavy/racial cussing. People need to grow up and learn that words mean things and aren't something you can playfully throw at people and not expect consequences because "lol itsa free ***@ry!!"
Especially since other countries are participating in this beta, and will participate when the game comes out.

why y'all mad?
Cause I'm fixing somebody's computer and can't play SC2 while I do it or I'd lose the match/not fix computer in time.

It wasn't filtered by the language filter?
oversensitive people are amusing, because most of them are hypocrites. IE they get offended if you take 'the lord's name in vain'. Then they go and say things like 'Holy Cow'.
That said sometimes people can be persistently verbally abusive, so its useful to know how to report..

Anyways back on topic.
The only way I think you can report someone is to add them to your friends list, then right click their name, click "more" and theres a report person feature there. What it exactly does Im not sure because I have never used it.

Because we don't need over sensitive cry babies on a PvP based game.
What the **** do you expect? For every match to have kiss and hugs with some "may the best player win" attitude?
If you and I were next to each other I'd KO you, steal your computer, and make you quit the match for an instant win. Get out.
Oh, and in real life, we'd call you a snitch. Being a snitch generally doesn't have a good reputation surrounding it.
Somebody close this topic.
I love, that the person who's trying to stop the ignorance is the bad guy here. I really do love this world we live in today.

I look forward to facing some of you pricks when the retail game hits.
It doesn't matter if you think he's "easily offended". Your right to swing your fist ends where the next man's face begins. If you said the word bananas, and it offended him, you should still respect it, even if you don't see what's wrong with it.
It's called common courtesy, you jaded idiots. Get off a %*!*ing internet forum once in awhile and go see how throwing slurs around works out for you in public.

If you can't handle racial slurs or verbal abuse then get off the internets and stay at church.
Stop being a @@#@@cat.

Or expect people to talk online how they would in real life.
If you ever call someone a slur in real life, you get knocked the !@%! out. Why should you be safe just because you hide behind a monitor?

I only call people a racial slur if I can defend myself from them or if they are little kids.

Thanks. You don't have to tell me twice.
Edit: I'm generally a nice person. However, I don't get offended to anything. You just feed the troll if they get you anger.

It's amazing what anonymity can do to people just because your hiding behind a monitor doesn't mean you have to be an ass to everbody.

To be fair I commonly report, and see temp-banned, players that cuss out(especially in general chats). Its funny when i ask a couple weeks after if they had been temp banned, because every so often they will once again cuss out like i was the one breaking rules. Guess what happens when they cuss out again?
Also sadly i see this thread being locked very soon, especially if people keep linking to extremely explicit content websites. I'm talking to you Eternal.eternal.

Depends. On the forums, you can certainly do so. In-game? I seriously doubt it.
