I'm pleased I'm not the only person who's forsaken beard maintenance for sake of Beta. I'd love to say I'll keep it until launch, but I'd look like Albus Fucking Dumbledore by the time Blizzard gets this thing into stores.

The trick is to only shave minutes before going to see your girlfriend for that one time a week you can take out of your playing routine. That day was yesterday for me so I'm good for a couple days! For those of you that live with your gf/wife... wear a mask? xD For those of you without one... consider yourself lucky that you don't have to worry about maintaining a bond with them.

right now my fiance goes to school when im off work so i get to play in most of all my spare time, otherwise i do the ol' go to bed with em till they fall asleep then get back up and play more beta =x

I stopped playing wow because I was too addicted and it was a time sink..... I had said SC2 was the game I would leave Wow for....so I quit Wow and now I have beta SCII... gg life

Luckily I'm 15, my facial hair is basically the color of my skin and grows half an inch a year (Unlike my normal hair, which grew from a high n' tight to past my shoulders in a little under a year)

This to a T. I quit playing WoW for 6 months after I had played it for 5 years hardcore raiding and got enrolled in college, since WoW won't get me a career and a house one day haha. I started WoW up recently for the past 2 months playing casual and I've said since Blizzcon 2008 that the second SC2 beta was out that WoW was dead to me. SC is my all time favorite game so it was an easy choice. Now the problem is that I'm in college and I'm trying not to screw up grades because of SC2. Just when I thought that I had more time for irl stuff this happens. Damn you Blizzard!! Thanks for the key though!!!

On topic I had a 2 week beard because of SC2 until I had to go to my friends wake last week. He died from drowning. RIP Eric. :(

lol, yes, I love that the "expectation" in this field is so much different. If you don't look more relaxed and scruffy than you must not be very good :)

Sorry to hear about your friend. I'm in college for computer science and currently reading this thread instead of doing my homework. I'm trying to not play the game, so I'm on the forums? Ah well, what other video game can claim to be a country's national sport? What other computer game is still being sold 12 years later in retail stores?
