This makes ZvZ more interesting by far. And it gives lings a nice niche.

Are immortals armored? This could be so sweet. Broken but sweet.

Edit: Does the armored dmg effect buildings that have armor also? or is that a separate thing.

Against ANYTHING armored. Zerglings are so numerous that even a marginal bonus to their damage would be multiplied by their sheer numbers. You'd almost be throwing away money using armored units against zerg if their most basic, easily spammable units had a bonus to armored.

There are very few armored units dude... this would mostly give zerg an alternative to mass roachers

Colossus, Immortal, Stalker, Hellion, Marauder, Siege tank, Thor are all armored its not very few. You would break the PvT ground game. Hellions would be greatly weakened, and siege tanks plus thor would be weakened more against a unit thats already a counter.

Protoss would become much more vulnerable to roaches because their precious immortals will become very difficult to field.

This idea is terrible.

LOL, can you imagine... 40 Cracklings with even +1 against armored? 20% increased attack speed?

Zerglings already own most armored units.

Seperate "vs building" which is really down to Reapers and Ultralisks.

Zerglings don't need a buff, they're great as is. They especially don't need a + vs armored which would be absolutely abysmal towards any sort of balance with any race, including vs zerg, as roaches would become obsolete completely.

Edit: Or are you recommending tier 3 upgrade for mutas to have +armor cause thats just as bad.

Roaches are currently one of the only armored Zerg units... what are you talking about?

+armored lings would be a laugh riot.

Imagine 30 lings running into the base, completely crushing all buildings while ignoring things attacking them. You wouldn't even need banes to break wallins anymore, just send in the cracklings!

It's what I do with marauders against zerg right now honestly. Double rax+tech, send in the 2-4 marines + 6 marauders and ignore things (marines kill workers) while destroying the lair. Move barracks over to reactors, factories over to tech and build tanks + stim marines. No matter what is built after that it will be destroyed by sieged tanks + stimmed M&M ball.

Zerg really could use a decent anti-armored unit. I can't understand why Zerg are the only race without a solid anti-armored unit.

Terran have Marauders

Protoss have Stalkers

Zerg HAD ultralisks (getting nerfed in 1.1). Zerg have to pray they have a good Starcraft 2 strategy guide (http://www.sc2guidereviews.com). Seriously though, why do Corruptors only deal bonus damage to Massive units and not armored units? Makes no sense.
