Having some troubles with Protoss :/

I haven't played Starcraft for a long time and after picking up Starcraft II. I'm currently stuck on Protoss.

I do well getting units fast due to my 3 Warp gate build.

But after that I usually get crushed by mass Siege Tanks or Protoss Carriers.

So what units should I focus on getting and how should you play the Protoss in Starcraft II?

Mass Siege Tanks are quite annoying.. try to avoid engaging them head on as a Protoss player. Colossi plus Stalkers with Blink work well - use the Colossus to walk up the side of the Terran players base, and with the vision granted, have your Stalkers blink up the wall as well. This forces the Siege Tanks to come to you.

When the player moves in his tanks toward your units, hurry up and kill as many as you can before they get into Siege Mode. Blink close with your Stalkers to take them out.

Also, I picked up a lot of Starcraft 2 Protoss strategy (http://www.sc2guidereviews.com/starcraft-2-protoss-strategy.html) from this Starcraft 2 strategy guide (http://www.sc2guidereviews.com/).

Carriers - grab mostly Stalkers and a few Sentries. Use your Stalkers to focus down the Carriers (manually attack the Carriers, not the interceptors). Use Guardian Shield with the Sentries, which literally cuts Carrier damage down by 50%. Easy win.
